Mobile Cardiac Unit

Dudley Rotary Club introduced the Mobile Cardiac unit in Dudley in 1971 - indeed it was one of the very first in the whole of the British Isles. The original vehicle was replaced with a bigger and better unit on two further occasions. The third in 1983 led to the Club receiving a District Significant Achievement Award (one of four that the club won).
