Club in association with Dudley College to showcase the brightest and most talented fashion, design and
textile students in the area. Ths 2024 winner was Winner Hatty Westwood.
ACHIEVER AWARDS
In every school there are pupils who never come top of the class not make the first team in sport but nevertheless achieve goals above those that might be expected of them. Often they achieve it in the face of adverse circumstances – very poor homes, having to be a carer for a parent are examples. These awards, given to primary school children recognise those achievements. Each school taking part nominates a pupil who receives a shield and a book token. The awards are made at the end of the summer term.
ROTARY YOUTH COMPETITIONS
Rotary GB&I and District 1210 run competitions for Key Stage 3 & 4 pupils to show their skills in a range of activities. Dudley Rotary runs the local heats for young chefs, photographers and musicians. The winners go on to District finals and in some cases to national finals.
RYLA
Rotary Youth Leadership Awards (RYLA) is an intensive leadership experience organized by
Rotary clubs and districts where youngsters develop their skills as a leader while having fun and making
connections. Each year Dudey Rotary offers bursaries to pay for up to 3 young people to attend the course.
