DUDLEY ROTARY

The Rotary Club of Dudley was formed in 1922 making it one of the oldest clubs in Great Britain and Ireland.

Rotary is a network of people building community spirit, unlocking the potential of young and older people. Rotary welcomes new members from all walks of life. It is one of the world’s largest and most successful global membership and humanitarian service organisations, with 1.4 million members in over 200 countries.

Latest News

Dudley Rotary working with the Rotary Club of Mumbai West Coast and with some funds from The Rotary Foundation established an eye clinic in Boisar (shown above), north of Mumbai to provide free cataract operations for those who cannot afford it. Recently the Rotary Foundation signed off the project.



Graham Dean took on the club Presidency from 1 July. He was previously President in 2012-13.

The year started sadly with the funeral of Ray Glazzard. Ray joined in 1972 and was President in 1978. He was a Paul Harris Saphire Fellow.


David Wilkes's year ended in June with the the annual awards. The Centenary Award went to the Priory Boxing Club. The Roy Pedley Award and bursary went to Hatty Westwood of Dudley College.
